Tanja Leimgruber is the Program Lead for Sustainable Digital Transformation of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Viet Nam. She is responsible for GGGI Viet Nam’s initiatives to accelerate innovations for energy efficiency and promote digital transformation for green growth. Having worked in Asia, Latin America and Europe, Tanja has over 8 years of international experience in the areas of sustainable investments and SDG financing. Prior to GGGI, Tanja worked for the German Development Finance Institution KfW DEG where she led equity investments in early-stage companies and PE funds in China and Southeast Asia. Apart from providing financing solutions her work focused on building capacities in terms of ESG standards and helping clients set up environmental and social management systems.

Tanja holds a Master’s degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, London, UK) in International Management for China and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bonn (Germany) in Asian Studies and Economics.
