Tohid Nowdel is the GHG Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) officer of GGGI Qatar Program. He is responsible for leading the MRV work stream and delivering technical outputs on MRV.

He has over 15 years of professional experience in advisory and implementation services in GHG inventory, climate change mitigation and GHG reduction project development. He has experience in the development of GHG MRV systems on project, sectoral and national levels.

He has been selected by the Supervisory Body (SB) to be included in the Roster of experts of Paris Agreement’s Article 6.4 mechanism as “Methodologies” and “Climate Policy” expert.

He has a master’s degree in chemical-Environmental engineering.
