Thavisack is GGGI Lao PDR’s Finance and Operations Officer and lead of the country office’s Operations Enabling Unit (OEU) under the guidance of the Country Representative. In this role, Thavisack ensures that GGGI Lao PDR is equipped and compliant with all necessary support functions, including procurement, logistics, human resource management, financial planning, financial management and reporting, petty cash management, and other critical administrative functions.

Prior to joining GGGI Lao PDR, Thavisack worked for nine years in the private sector. He was Country Tax Manager and Chief Accountant at a Chinese multinational technology corporation managing legal, accounting and tax compliance, and has also worked as Business Controller– Logistics at a leading brewery company in Lao PDR. Prior to this, he worked as Senior Auditor at a Big-4 audit firm in Lao PDR. Thavisack has also worked as Project Assistant at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ Laos) for two years. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) with honors from the Lao-American College and is a fully qualified member of CPA Australia and Lao Chamber of Professional Accountants and Auditors (LCPAA).
