Olola Vieyra-Mifsud

Under the role of Country Representative of GGGI Côte d’Ivoire, she will support the Government develop green growth policies, mobilize financing for green investment projects and build capacity for green growth implementation. While leading the operational activities of the country’s programs, she will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the local team to achieve GGGI’s vision of strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Prior to this role, she was managing an international partnership aiming at implementing mini-grids solutions in several villages of Benin, to reach the 80,000 energy access connections by 2026. Before that as a Technical Advisor to the Office of the President of Benin, Patrice Talon, she contributed to the development, implementation and monitoring of the Government Action Plan 2016-2021 (16B USD), as well as advising as a board member of several National Agencies. This led her to contribute to the unprecedented increase in the countries’ programs transformation rate. In previous experiences, she had to conduct several missions on water scarcity, environment and energy access with organizations including UNEP, UNDP, OECD and ECOWAS.

She is also an active member of the civil society, volunteering on various boards of association to promote entrepreneurship, investment or project management best practices.

With overall 16 years of professional experience she holds a BBA degree in Information systems from HEC Montreal, a Dual-Degree in Public Administration from Sciences Po and Public Policy from Lee Kwan Yew SPP. She is also a certified Project Management Professional from the PMI and speaks French, English and a remainder of German.
