Hillary Green joined GGGI’s Qatar Program in July 2022 as its Senior Officer – Circular Economy. In this role, Hillary will be leading the program’s work on circular economy and sustainable consumption and production in support of Qatar National Vision 2030 and National Environment and Climate Change Strategy.

Hillary started her career in the e energy sector where she held various positions, working in production, project management, and sustainability. Prior to joining GGGI, she was a program officer with the UN Environment Program where she led the UN System’s annual inventory of its environmental footprint and provided technical advice to the UN System agencies on methods for reducing their footprint.

Hillary is an engineer by training and holds a  Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
