Charles Aubin Baimey

Charles Aubin Baimey joined GGGI Côte d’Ivoire Country Program as Senior Program Associate.

In his role, he will be coordinating the Project “Empowering local non-state actors and vulnerable communities for climate action and resilience” in Côte d’Ivoire and Sénégal. The project aims to increase the capacity of Civil Society to have more voice and do better and more advocacy.

Charles has been an actor of Civil Society for more than ten years. Prior to joining GGGI, he was worked for an International organization focused on agriculture and sustainable value chains. His role was to support that organization on all matters related to environment and climate change.

Charles is actively involved in climate negotiations. He participated to several Conferences of the Parties including the ones of Doha, Paris and Marrakech.

He holds Bachelor in Social Sciences and Specialized certificates in Forest governance, forestry and agricultural certifications, training of trainers and WASH. He is master trainer on the cashew value chain..
