Based on the Mexico Country Planning Framework (CPF) 2021-2025, the Subnational Strategy has identified challenges and opportunities to lend a territory-based approach to country-level initiatives and contribute to long-term transformational impacts. The document contains five strategic outcomes that will guide the next phase of GGGI’s partnership with Mexico from 2022 to 2025 and assist the Government of Mexico and selected subnational state governments in delivering its NDC mitigation and adaptation targets: Green Investments, Climate Action, Sustainable Landscapes, Waste Management, and Sustainable Mobility.
