Both renewable energy and forestry offer significant opportunities for green job creation in developing and emerging economies. On September 10, 2021, GGGI released a technical report on Green Recovery and Climate Action, aimed at demonstrating and assessing the employment co-benefits of implementing targets related to renewable energy and forestry set in the Nationally Determined Contributions NDCs under the Paris Agreement in GGGI Member developing and emerging economies.
