Project Overview

GGGI has been supporting the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) of the UAE to develop the national integrated air quality and GHG inventory MRV system. At the sub-national level, the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai produce their own GHG inventories at periodic intervals. This project offers support to Abu Dhabi to design an MRV system that sets up a robust sub-national MRV system focused on generating a complete set of transparent, accurate, complete, consistent and comparable GHG emissions and removals within the emirate.
