July 17^th, 2023 – The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) signed an agreement with the National Determined Contribution Partnership (NDCP) to utilize Partnership Action Fund (PAF) resources to deliver the project, “Support for the preparation of an adaptation investment pipeline for potential funding by donors, and in the mobilization of resources for the implementation of Fiji’s updated NDC”.

The aim of the support is to further develop the capacity of the government units involved in the development of adaptation-related investment concepts and lead the development of an investment plan, pipeline, and concept notes to be presented to the Adaptation Fund with the Ministry of Finance (MoF) as an Accredited Entity. In addition, support will be given in the accreditation of the MoF to the adaptation Fund.

The two-year project was officially kicked off on August 1^st in the Climate Change Divisions (CCD) offices in Fiji’s Ministry of Finance with the focal points from CCD, MoF, GGGI, and NDCP.
