Souksaveuy is a Senior Associate for Solid Waste Management with GGGI’s Lao PDR program. She is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation and provision of technical support for solid waste management project. Also, she is a focal point for coordination with key stakeholders’ which are engaged in solid waste management project.

Before joining GGGI, Souksaveuy worked as an assistant lecturer at Faculty of Environmental Science, National University of Laos and gave lectures on wastewater treatment and renewable energy courses.  She also worked as an independent consultant for Environmental Impact Assessment of a mining project. In addition, she used to work as an Environmental specialist for Second GMS Corridor Towns Development Project of Asian Development Bank which was conducted in Northern Laos region. Souksaveuy also holds a master degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
