Saebyul Chun is the Country Portfolio Officer for GGGI’s Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East programs. In this role, she supports the Head of Programs with strategic program planning and development, resource mobilization, partnership building, implementation of scoping and expansion activities, and monitoring, reporting and assessment of GGGI’s programs in the region.
Prior to joining GGGI, Saebyul has worked as a Program Officer for the Korea Development Institute (KDI). She designed and implemented policy consultation projects tailored for each developing partner country under Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP): a Korean government-sponsored development consulting program to share Korea’s socioeconomic development experience and lessons learned. She conducted monitoring and evaluation of development programs using a mix of quantitative and qualitative approaches. She has been honored by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of Korea for her high performance and diligence.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Ewha Womans University and a Master of International Studies degree from Seoul National University.
