Rowan Fraser

Rowan Fraser is the Country Representative with GGGI Lao PDR.

Before joining GGGI Laos, Rowan led GGGI Nepal, where he grew the country portfolio to include electric mobility, sanitation, waste, carbon trading, and agriculture projects. Prior to joining GGGI, Rowan worked with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, where he coordinated a regional municipal solid waste management program in selected cities. In addition, Rowan has undertaken technical assignments on urban land use, urban resource management, transportation and local climate change adaptation planning for UN-Habitat, Oxfam, Barton Willmore and the Agar Khan Agency for Habitat. Prior to this, Rowan was Urban Resilience Program Coordinator with the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center where he managed a portfolio of urban disaster and climate resilience projects. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Auckland, and a Master of Urban Policy from Sciences Po.
