Militetsega is a Program Officer for GGGI Ethiopia, her role in the country program spans from coordination, budgeting and support in operational requirements of ongoing projects in the program to getting involved in the preparation of new projects planning stages in the country program. Militetsega has worked in various roles within GGGI; she joined in 2013 to support the setup of the Ethiopia program in the implementation of the Climate Resilient Green Economy. She held the role of portfolio officer for regional programs, the Africa and Europe programs for one year.

Her prior experience includes working on a joint Ethiopian Government-GIZ funded Engineering Capacity Building Program, aimed at the enhancement of the private sector by re-engineering business processes, to enable selected manufacturing companies to compete in the international market and boost the export share of government priority selected sectors.

Militetsega holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from BahirDar University and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente.
