Kizza Mariah is a Senior Assistant-Finance and Administration at GGGI’s office in Kampala, Uganda. Mariah is directly responsible of overseeing and managing Uganda country program operations related to logistics. Specifically, she is responsible for maintaining a data and assets repository; implementing finance, logistics and administrative procedures; supporting Uganda team and consultant on the procedures, policies and tools of travel, workshops and other administrative arrangements; recruitment related activities; and coordinating travel; providing general support to the program activities.
Mariah is a Development worker with over seven (7) years’ working experience in Programme Administration and Management in both local and international government setting. Previously, she worked as a Programme and Administration Officer at KOICA, managing and overseeing the implementation of ODA Bilateral, multilateral and Public Private Partnership projects with Government of Uganda MDAs, private sector and civil society related to agricultural development, agro-processing & Marketing, water, environment, transport – aviation, energy and education- skills development. She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Board member of Saemaul Global League (SGL) Uganda Chapter, supporting program development for resource mobilization. She also worked as a project officer with THETA, an HIV prevention and traditional medicine local based NGO in Uganda.
Mariah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies (Rural Development) from Makerere University and Masters of Science Degree in Development Economics from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi.
