Mallé Fofana is the Country Representative of Burkina-Faso and Côte d’Ivoire. He is currently based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Malle leads and directs the operational day to day activities of Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire countries programs. He is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the countries teams to achieve GGGI’s vision of strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth. He also supports the GGGI’s membership expansion in west and central Africa region
Prior to taking up this position at GGGI, Malle was Partner, and Managing Director of Red Mangrove Development Advisors (RMDA) international consulting firms, responsible for the strategy and business operational aspects, including project implementation and business expansion in Africa. Prior to R.M.D.A., Mallé was a Senior Project Manager at Dalberg Global Development Advisors (DGDA). His work focused on development issues in Africa, defining, leading, and implementing a range of economic and social development initiatives, as well as business development efforts throughout the region. He has participated in projects across various key sectors, including Agriculture, Finance, Infrastructure development, Water and Sanitation, Public health, Energy, Environment, and ICT.
Overall, Malle has more than 14 years of professional experience in Development policy, resources mobilization and project development & implementation.
Mallé holds a MSc in Management, MBA in International Development and a PhD in Organizational and Method. He speaks English and French.
