Joon Hahm is the Head of Internal Audit at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). In this capacity, he leads the organization’s internal audit and assurance function, safeguarding governance, risk management, and integrity across GGGI’s global operations.

Joon brings more than a decade of professional experience in auditing, financial accounting, and advisory services with top multinational firms and international organizations. His career has spanned diverse industries and geographies, from Canadian and U.S. Stock Exchange regulatory reviews to national compliance audits of NGOs worldwide. This breadth of experience has honed his ability to navigate complex financial, operational, and compliance environments with rigor and independence.

As Head of Internal Audit, Joon is recognized for his strong commitment to professional ethics, objectivity, and accountability, principles he upholds in reinforcing transparency and trust within GGGI.

Joon has been a fully qualified Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University, further strengthening his leadership, strategic, and global management expertise.
