Gabriela Rodríguez

Gabriela Rodríguez is Climate Finance and Policy Senior Associate in GGGI’s Mexico Office, where she supports the design and implementation of strategic projects to promote the transition of the financial sector towards the incorporation of sustainable and climate-related aspects. Through this position Gabriela works directly with relevant institutions of the Mexican financial sector, such as the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, Regulatory Agencies, and Development Banks, supporting them in the development of policies, strategies, and tools to effectively mobilize sustainable finance.

She has previous experience working with public and non-governmental institutions, where she developed valuable technical knowledge on climate policy and finance, as well as sustainable energy. Skills that she has employed to advance the climate finance endeavors in Mexico and other countries of the Latin America region.

Gabriela holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Master’s in Carbon Finance from the Business School of the University of Edinburgh.
