Endah Purnawati

Endah Bayu Purnawati is the Senior Projects & Partnerships Developer for GGGI in Indonesia. She has been working in development issues in Indonesia for more than 10 years. Prior to joining GGGI, she was the Senior Programme Officer for the Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)—a support programme of the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Pro-Poor Policy: The Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI)—between 2013 and 2017. Her portfolio included managing relationships with national government counterparts and leading research-based civil society organisations for the programme’s knowledge community on village development issues. In the past, she worked on development issues involving national and sub-national governments, universities and as well as civil society organisations for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia.

She received her undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Indonesia, and obtained her Master’s degree in International Relations from the Australian National University in Canberra.
