Elis Bechir is the Talent Management Officer with the Office of Human Resources at the HQ in Seoul, Republic of Korea. In her role, she is designing, delivering and monitoring GGGI’s leadership development program, and is supporting the overall HR strategy in recruitment, compensation and benefit, staff learning and development, and performance management.
Elis brings 10 years of experience in capacity building and change management. After graduating in Nationalism Studies at Central European University, she took on different challenges. To name a few: lobbying for renewable energy in Romania on behalf of the British Embassy, promoting women rights in the Ivory Coast, promoting Youth in Action program of European Commission to young immigrants in Spain, standardizing procedures of a corporation in several sub-Saharan African countries, delivering the Emiratization program in the UAE. Furthermore, Elis landed her dream job at the UN, starting with the Department of Peacekeeping Operations in Haiti, the International Monetary Fund in DC, the World Health Organization in Egypt and UNICEF in New York.
Elis holds a Bachelor degree in Communication and Journalism and a second Master degree in Conflict Resolution.
