David Sengozi Kyeyune

David Sengozi Kyeyune is a Sustainable Landscapes and Agriculture Officer for GGGI based in Kampala Uganda. He is responsible for designing and implementing sustainable Landscapes interventions particularly sustainable energy and water nexus. He joined GGGI  2017 as an Investment Officer with the responsibility of delivering Green Investment Service activities.  His work focused on supporting investment analysis of green growth, developing green growth business models and a pipeline of bankable projects for the country to increase its ability to attract green finance.

David has a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise of over 18 years around Green Growth Planning and implementation, Climate Resilient Agriculture, Investment management, Private Sector Development, Impact Investment, Market Development and Humanitarian work. He joined GGGI from Vredeseilanden (VECO) now known as Rikolto where he served as a Country Coordinator for Uganda, providing overall leadership for the Country Programme. Prior to that, he worked for SNV Netherlands Development Organisation as a Senior Economic Development Advisor where he contributed to the development and implementation of country economic development strategy SNV. Other notable organizations worked for include OXFAM GB where he spearheaded an Enterprise Development Program, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Plan International

He is a Prince2 certified Project Manager and holds a Master’s in Development Studies and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Makerere University with several professional trainings.
