Cristobal Agravante

Cristobal Agravante is a Senior Legal Counsel providing legal advice and support to GGGI on a wide range of legal issues with a view of ensuring protection of GGGI’s interests and compliance with its mandate and regulations and policies.

Prior to joining GGGI, Cristobal worked for more than 10 years at the Asian Development Bank as Senior Legal Officer.  He also practiced law representing private firms and non-profit organizations, and worked as in-house counsel of a publicly-listed mining firm.  Before becoming a lawyer, he served as Contract Officer of the Canadian International Development Agency in the Philippines and worked for different non-government organizations in various capacities.

A Philippine national and member of the Philippine bar, Cristobal obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Letters from the De la Salle University.
