Abdoulaye FAYE

Mr. Abdoulaye FAYE is a Sanitation Officer based in Senegal. He provides technical assistance and delivery of technical components promoting City-Wide Inclusive Sanitation through Climate Resilience and Green Growth. Activities include the provision of high-quality technical expertise across all areas of the program, coordination with the stakeholders and government counterparts.

Abdoulaye spent over 10 years working in infrastructure, sanitation, and renewable energy projects. He was previously employed by the Senegal National Sanitation Utility (ONAS) as a Program Officer. As part of the FSM program funded by BMGF, he managed several sanitation projects in Dakar during the last five years. Prior to ONAS, he was a technician at the Senegal National Biogas Program for three years.

Abdoulaye holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He received technical trainings in WASH field from EAWAG and EPFL. He also completed recently a Master’s degree in Procurement and Public-Private Partnerships. Currently, he is doing a Master’s degree in Water and Sanitation at 2IE – International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering.
