This report analyzes the public transport concession models of 7 cities in Europe and Latin America, varying in size and level of development. Two European cities were selected due to their good and sustained performance levels, a key aspect to which cities from emerging economies could aspire. Five Latin American cities were included to show what has worked in practice in emerging economies, and to take into account local political, economic and social contexts.
