About the project
Building on the Global Green Growth Index and AI-Green Growth Simulation (AI-GGSim), this initiative develops GGGI’s first global AI-powered platform for assessing green growth performance, transition potential, and future pathways. The platform combines composite green growth indicators, AI-powered multilingual analytics, machine learning, and simulation modeling to evaluate countries’ green growth trajectories under alternative policy scenarios. Serving as the analytical engine for generating global, regional, and national green growth outlooks, the platform enables policymakers to explore transition pathways, compare countries and regions, and generate AI-assisted policy insights.
Developed in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), it integrates Generative AI with interactive dashboards to transform complex sustainability assessments into accessible, policy-relevant intelligence. Users can assess transition pathways to 2050 and evaluate the implications of climate, biodiversity, resource efficiency, and social inclusion policies. The platform supports evidence-based policymaking for NDCs, LT-LEDS, NAPs, and green growth strategies, while advancing the global application of AI for climate action and sustainable development.
