Final Evaluation of Government Of Indonesia-GGGI Green Growth Program Phase 2
In 2021, Norway commissioned an end-of-project evaluation of ID01 Government of Indonesia–GGGI Green Growth Program Phase II, following a mid-term review conducted in 2018.
The project supported the Government of Indonesia in mainstreaming its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) commitments into development plans and policies, leveraging investment in REDD+ mitigation actions, and strengthening the capacity of key institutions and actors. The project was funded by Norway via Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI).
The evaluation aimed to assess the results of Green Growth Program Phase II against the program’s results framework. It identified good practices, challenges encountered, and areas where expected results may not have been achieved. The evaluation also drew lessons from the project implementation and provided recommendations to improve the quality of future projects.
The evaluation examined the project’s relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, cross-cutting issues, risks, and impact.
The evaluation was delivered by NIRAS.
Norway did not publish an inception report for this evaluation.
