Evaluation of Viet Nam Country Program
In 2019, GGGI commissioned an evaluation of its Viet Nam Country Program. GGGI has worked with the Government of Viet Nam since 2015, providing technical assistance, investment mobilization, policy advisory services, and capacity building, contributing to the country’s green growth ambitions and net-zero transition.
The evaluation aimed to assess the progress of the Viet Nam Country Program towards achieving impact. It developed an impact pathway diagram to map the program’s contributions to its impacts and to Viet Nam’s national goals. The evaluation covered all projects implemented between 2015 and 2020 in the areas of Green Growth Strategy implementation and financing, green urban development, waste management, solar energy, and biomass energy.
The evaluation was undertaken by GGGI’s Impact and Evaluation Unit.
