Evaluation of Colombia-GGGI Green Growth Program
In 2019, GGGI commissioned an evaluation of CO02 Colombia–GGGI Green Growth Program (2017–2019). The program aimed to support the Government of Colombia’s transition towards a green growth pathway by promoting environmental sustainability and social equity, while increasing green growth investments in priority areas and reducing deforestation. The program was funded by Norway.
The evaluation provided the Governments of Colombia and Norway, as well as GGGI and its technical team, with an independent assessment of the program’s results. It identified lessons learned and areas for improvement to enhance effectiveness in the context of a potential continuation of the program (Phase II).
The evaluation assessed the program’s relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability, and cross-cutting issues, including gender and social equity.
The evaluation was overseen by GGGI’s Impact and Evaluation Unit (IEU) and delivered by MANCALA Consultores SL.
