In 2026, GGGI commissioned an end-of-project evaluation of the project – NP07 Building Climate Resilience and Reintegrating Economically Displaced Workers through Climate Smart Agriculture in the Terai Flood Plain, Nepal.

The project supported the widespread adoption of climate-smart agriculture to reduce vulnerability and improve food and employment security, particularly for women and returned migrant workers. The project was funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

The evaluation aimed to assess the project’s performance, identify lessons learned, and assess the real changes experienced by the project’s primary target groups—women and youth. The primary intended users included GGGI, KOICA, government counterparts in Nepal, Good Neighbours International (consortium member), and local implementing partners.

The evaluation covered all project activities implemented between June 2022 and December 2025 and assessed the project’s relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, sustainability, and the cross-cutting area of gender.

The evaluation was managed by GGGI’s Impact and Evaluation Unit and delivered by Scholars Consult Pvt Ltd.
