End-Project Evaluation of the Project “Agroforestry for People, Peace and Prosperity”
In 2024, GGGI commissioned an end-project evaluation of the project – ET26 Agroforestry for People, Peace and Prosperity.
The project aimed to restore forest ecosystems and improve the livelihoods of local communities through integrated agroforestry interventions implemented in partnership with local communities and government stakeholders. The project was funded by the Korea Forest Service.
The evaluation aimed to assess the achievement of the project’s outcomes and outputs and to identify factors that contributed to or impeded progress. The primary intended users of the evaluation included GGGI, the Korea Forest Service, the Environment and Coffee Forest Forum (ECFF), the Ethiopian Forest Development (EFD), as well as partners at the regional and community levels.
The evaluation covered all project activities delivered between 2022 and 2024 and assessed the project’s relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability.
The evaluation was managed by GGGI’s Impact and Evaluation Unit and delivered by an independent consultant.
