In 2026, GGGI commissioned an End-Project Evaluation of the project – JO11 Creating Sustainable Green Jobs for Refugees and Host Communities through the Green Economy in Jordan.

The project aims to establish an inclusive green employment ecosystem in Jordan, creating job opportunities while promoting sustainable economic growth and environmental protection. It focuses on promoting green employment, strengthening the employability of job seekers in green sectors—particularly youth, women, and refugees—and establishing a green business incubation and acceleration program. The project is funded by KOICA.

The evaluation aimed to assess the project’s outputs and outcomes. Specifically, the evaluation is conducted to (i) provide accountability to stakeholders, (ii) to extract lessons learned, and (iii) to formulate evidence-based recommendations of the Project. The primary intended users include GGGI, implementing partners, and KOICA.

The evaluation covered all project activities between June 2023 and March 2026, and assessed the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impacts, and sustainability of the project. A mid-term evaluation of the project, completed in 2025, is available here.

The evaluation was managed by GGGI’s Impact and Evaluation Unit and delivered by Human Asia in cooperation with the University of Jordan.
