GREEN COCKTAIL

On March 25th, 2022, was held an exchange event which turned around the project “support for the establishment of a national financial vehicle focusing on buildings and ecological infrastructures, the development of a system of minimum compliance of ecological buildings and the application in direct access for Cote d’Ivoire”. The exchange meeting, called Green Cocktail, took place in the context of the support given by GGGI to Cote d’Ivoire to adopt the transition model for green growth (aligned with and beyond the scope of this GCF Readiness project) by assisting the management of the implementation of strategic projects and programs.

The objective of this cocktail was to obtain the commitment of the effective participation of stakeholders in this second Readiness and the importance of the involvement of the national private sector in the mobilization of funds through the accreditation of the NBI. More specifically, this will involve:

  • Present the objectives and deliverables of this new Readiness GCF-GGGI through the interventions of the officials of the ceremony
  • Outline next steps

Dr Nicaise AMAN, Readiness Program Senior Associate, introduced the different and notable personalities who were present. Thereafter, Dr Malle, Africa Regional Director gave the welcome speech.  Mr Frank Rijsberman, Director-General of GGGI, acknowledged the work that was done and gave some words of encouragement afterwards. Then, Frank Rijsberman and Mr Atsin Yao Leon, Executive Director of FIRCA, signed the MoU. Finally, Dr Nicaise gave the floor to people for networking and discussion while the cocktail was being served.
