Mahua Acharya, GGGI’s Assistant Director-General and Head of Investment and Policy Solutions Division attended the P4G Board of Directors meeting and the NCE 2018 Summit of the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate on April 19-20 in Washington, D.C.

At the NCE Summit 2018, there was a high-level discussion on ways to accelerate sustainable green growth, meet the objectives of the Paris Agreement on Climate Action and deliver on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. During the discussion, global leaders urged to pay closer attention to country-level sectoral work and they exchanged ideas on how energy, infrastructure, cities, food, land-use, water and industry systems can drive economic growth and climate action.

As a partner of P4G, GGGI took part in the inaugural P4G Board of Directors meeting to provide inputs to guide the strategic vision for P4G and how it can best facilitate and support new models for sustainable development.
