The partnership will leverage each organization’s expertise to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreement.”At ADA, we believe that empowering vulnerable communities with access to inclusive finance is essential for a just and sustainable green transition. This partnership with GGGI allows us to amplify our impact, ensuring that local initiatives can grow into transformative solutions that create opportunities for future generations.” Stated Laura Foschi, Executive Director of ADA.
“This MoU reflects our mutual dedication to accelerating the green transition by empowering institutions with the tools and resources they need to thrive sustainably. ADA’s deep expertise in inclusive finance and local development aligns perfectly with GGGI’s mission to catalyse green growth globally”, added Julie Godin, Head of GGGI Luxembourg.
Building on their shared commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, GGGI and ADA will work together to strengthen national, sub-national, and local frameworks for green growth planning, financing and institutional development; mobilize and scale up public and private green investments to translate strategies and investment plans into tangible action; enhance South-South cooperation and promote evidence-based knowledge exchange on green growth and sustainable development.
