2026 Bonn Climate Change Conference
Held in Bonn, Germany, the 64th sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB 64) will convene governments, international organizations, and climate partners to advance technical negotiations and implementation under the Paris Agreement. As the global climate community looks ahead to the next phase of climate action, SB 64 will serve as an important platform to strengthen cooperation, mobilize finance, and translate climate commitments into practical implementation.
During SB 64, seven delegates from GGGI will participate in seven sessions covering carbon and adaptation, Article 6 cooperation, climate and economic planning, and gender-responsive climate finance. The sessions will explore how innovative mechanisms can scale up finance for adaptation, how carbon finance can deliver broader resilience benefits, and how countries can move from strategies to concrete implementation.
