Partnering for Ambitious Global Climate Action

The Global Green Growth Institute and the Green Climate Fund jointly convened a high-level conference in the Republic of Korea to strengthen collaboration on green finance, climate action, and international partnerships. As the host country of both institutions, the Republic of Korea plays a uniquely important role in advancing international climate cooperation by connecting governments and global organizations with leading green technology companies, financial institutions, public agencies, and research institutes. This joint conference, organized alongside the annual Friends of GGGI Luncheon, will convene high-level representatives from member countries, Korean public and private sector institutions, and international partners to strengthen awareness, collaboration, and future financing partnerships.

The conference featured two segments: a high-level session for key member countries and contributors, and a dedicated session for Korean domestic institutions focused on practical partnership and project opportunities:
