GGGI at UNFCCC Climate Week-3 & GX Week

From commitments to implementation. UNFCCC Climate Week is a key moment to accelerate delivery of the Paris Agreement. Countries are preparing enhanced NDCs informed by the Global Stocktake, and the focus must now shift to turning climate ambition into concrete policies, investment pipelines, and real impacts.
GGGI works directly with governments in more than 50 countries, embedding experts in ministries to align policy, finance, and projects so that climate commitments translate into tangible results for people, economies, and ecosystems.

During UNFCCC Climate Week, 20 experts from the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) contributed to over 10 events, sharing implementation experience on climate finance, carbon markets, energy transition, adaptation, and data-driven climate decision-making.

GGGI, in collaboration with the UNFCCC Secretariat and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) of the Republic of Korea, officially launched the “Global Voluntary Carbon Market (GVCM) Aligned with the Paris Agreement,” with the inception workshop held alongside the UNFCCC Regional Climate Week.
