Taking action for nature

GGGI will participate in the seventeenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), taking place in Yerevan, Armenia, from 19 to 30 October 2026.

Hosted by the Government of Armenia, COP17 will bring together Parties, international organizations, civil society, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, youth, and other stakeholders to advance global action for nature. The conference will undertake the first global review of collective progress in implementing the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

GGGI will contribute to discussions and events focused on translating global biodiversity commitments into practical action, mobilizing green investment, and strengthening the integration of biodiversity into climate and sustainable development priorities.
