About GGGI in the Eastern Caribbean

In 2019, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) welcomed the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) as its only international organization member. This milestone paved the way for GGGI to initiate regional programs in collaboration with OECS and embark on national-level endeavors in partnership with governments of OECS member countries.

Our Collective Journey

The GGGI Eastern Caribbean team is committed to driving green growth in the region’s emerging economies. We have supported multiple countries through a range of projects in various stages of development and implementation, and we continue to foster strong partnerships across the region. In alignment with its broader commitment to the Caribbean sub-region, GGGI supports key sustainable development priorities such as Sustainable Finance Mobilization, Adaptation and Resilience to Climate Change, GHG Emissions Mitigation, Generation of Green Jobs, and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion. These efforts aim to foster a more sustainable and inclusive future for the Eastern Caribbean region.
