Yuli Nugroho

Yuli Nugroho is GGGI Indonesia Forest Investment Officer, based in Central Kalimantan. Yuli graduated from the Faculty of Forestry, Gadjah Mada University in February 1992, and obtained a Masters degree from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, School of Social Sciences Ateneo de Manila University in 2003.

Starting his career as a researcher, Yuli was actively involved in research activities throughout Indonesia in the fields of rural and regional development, poverty alleviation program, forestry, forest governance, and others, with many successfully published results. He also co-authored several books and was awarded research fellowships to study decentralization and devolution of forest management in the Philippines, Thailand, India, Japan, and Indonesia.

Yuli has been a great addition to the Sustainable Landscape team, strengthening GGGI Indonesia’s work in designing bankable projects and scoping forest investment opportunities.
