Marina Leigh Brenden

Marina works on Resource Mobilization and Partnerships in the Office of the Director General. She supports GGGI’s country teams to develop proposals, engages with current and prospective donors, and ensures internal alignment with donor priorities. She also liaises with potential member countries and manages the accession of new members to GGGI.

Prior to her current role, Marina worked at GGGI in the Program Development Unit on country program expansion and development of Country Planning Frameworks. Marina’s background is in urban development, and her experience includes roles with UN Habitat, CityNet, and the World Bank.

Marina holds a BA in Literature and Political Science from the University of Southern California, and a Masters of Pacific and International Affairs from UC San Diego.
