Laura Escobar is the Regional Associate in Antioquia, in GGGI Colombia office.
She has worked in this region by providing technical advise in the formulation of Climate Change Policies and Plans. She is also an agricultural entrepreneur and has assisted the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, supporting the design of national adaptation policies, actions and plans. She has broad experience in environmental and development fields representing different stakeholders.
She holds a BSc in Ecology from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana; a MSc of Environmental Management of Griffith University; a MSc in Local Economic Development of London School of Economics and Political Science; and a Certificate in Decentralised Cooperation of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
