Mr. Khan Ram-Indra is GGGI’s Country Representative in Thailand, and responsible for representing GGGI in the country, executing programs, and delivering results that are in line with GGGI’s visions, goals, and objectives. Khan was previously the Thailand Program Manager and played critical roles in building GGGI’s strong presence and programs in Thailand.
Prior to joining GGGI, he was the Clean Energy and Climate Change Specialist for the United States Agency for International Development, Regional Development Mission for Asia (USAID/RDMA) and was responsible for managing regional climate change and clean energy activities in Asia and in China with the total project value of more than USD 66 million.
During 2009-2010, Khan was Climate Change Officer at the British Embassy Bangkok where he represented the British Government in all climate change activities in Thailand. During 2004 – 2009, he was a Senior Consultant at Environmental Resources Management where he managed energy and climate change projects.
Khan received Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Master’s Degree in Environmental Economics and Natural Resource Economics from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and Master of Business Administration in Energy and Environment Management from University of Twente, the Netherlands.
