John Alexander Gomez Martinez

As GGGI´s Colombia Operations Manager, John lead all the Management and Administration activities of the country program, particularly to respond in a timely and adequate manner to all the requirements established within the Grant Agreement with the Norwegian MFA and subsequent arrangements defined with the local Embassy. He leads on HR, finance, legal, procurement and day to day office management within the country to ensure the effective delivery and successful in country operations.

He has more than 15 years in operations management.  Prior joining GGGI he worked both, with public and private institutions such as UNOPS, UNODC, the TATA Group and the Colombian Ministry of Defense among others.

John has an Master in Business Administration degree, as well as a number of specialties/certificates in Operational Management, CIPS Certificate, PMP Certificate, International Finance and Public Procurement, Framework of Engagement of External Parties and Negotiation.
