As Head of Partnerships, James Sheppard supports the Director-General in deepening relations with Members and partners, and coordinating organization-wide business development and resource mobilization efforts. He previously served as Head of Governance, coordinating the activities of the Assembly and Council supporting the President of the Assembly, Chair of the Council, Director-General and Members on issues related to GGGI governance and accountability.
Prior to joining GGGI, James worked at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on issues of regulatory policy, budgeting and public expenditure, and accountability systems. He previously also worked for the World Bank and Revenue Watch Institute (now Natural Resource Governance Institute). James holds a Masters of Public Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science and Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, as well as Bachelors of Economics and Asian Studies from the University of Western Australia.
