HyoYoul Kim is a senior program manager and at the Global Green Growth Institute. His role in GGGI is tracking and overseeing the overall progress of the Institute’s Green Growth Planning & Implmentation projects and Research programs to support the Executive Director in enhancing the organization’s governance.
Before joining the GGGI, he was a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers – Korea, a professional consulting firm, and was responsible for climate change and sustainable management practices. He was involved in building the Korean Green Growth Strategy and 5-year Action Plan (investment plan) as a project manager. He was involved with multiple GHG assurance projects for the public sector and multinational companies, green investment planning for local governments in Korea, ETS legislation review for the Ministry of Environment, and many other sustainable strategy building tasks for private companies. Mr. Kim also has various experience in enterprise-wide risk management, process improvement, internal auditing, and performance management during working at PricewaterhouseCoopers and other private companies.
He was educated at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and has been professionally trained and licensed to practice as Certified Information System Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.
