Hanh Le is Program Lead of Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Vietnam. She is responsible for GGGI Vietnam’s programs in green finance and renewable energy. Hanh has over 10 years of international experience in the areas of energy, climate change, green growth and sustainable development policies, working in public sector organizations, inter-governmental organizations, private consulting firms as well as financial institutions. Prior to GGGI, Hanh served as a Climate Finance expert for UNDP where her work focused on strengthening domestic governance of climate finance to increase green investments in Asia Pacific. She was also a Regional Climate Change specialist for UNEP in Bangkok (Thailand), supporting ASEAN countries to strengthen climate change policies. In addition, Hanh worked with Asian Development Bank as a Carbon Market Specialist, providing technical assistance to member countries in establishing market-based instruments to respond to climate change. Prior to that, she served as a Policy Advisor to the Minister of Energy of New Zealand where she led the policy formulation and implementation in the areas of bioenergy, natural gas and carbon capture and storage technology.
Hanh holds Dual Master Degrees in Public Policy from Sciences Po (Paris, France) and National University of Singapore and a Bachelor degree in Finance and Economics from Lincoln University (New Zealand).
