Mongolia awards GGGI the Certificate of Appreciation

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism held a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism at the Government House on January 4, 2018.

Former authorities, members of the Parliament and Government, veteran workers and representatives of donors and projects attended the ceremony. During the ceremony N.Tserenbat, Minister of Environment and Tourism handed-over honored Certificate of Appreciation to GGGI Mongolia for its great contribution in maintaining ecological balance, use natural resources properly, and implementing sustainable green growth policy in the country.

On behalf of GGGI Mongolia, Bayarmaa Enkhbayar, attended the meeting and proudly received the award from the Minister.

While handing over the award Minister Tserenbat said “It was a great honor to work with GGGI in the past. We will keep continuously working with GGGI on keeping nature balance by developing ecologically friendly sustainable tourism, initiating collaboration among government, citizens, and entities to sustain green development and ensuring human rights to live in safe and healthy condition”.
