GGGI urged to support Viet Nam’s Green Growth Strategy

NDO – Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has suggested that the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) continues supporting Viet Nam in developing its legal framework, in studying to enhance its management, promoting communications work to raise awareness of green growth, and sharing information and knowledge on green growth.

He made the suggestion at a meeting in Hanoi, on January 23, with the Director-General of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) Frank Rijsberman.

The hosts also urged GGGI to help train and develop human resources, and include green growth in the socio-economic development plan; analyse the feasibility of evaluation tools for Vietnam’s green growth and pilot them in several provinces, cities, and key sectors.
