On November 1, GGGI co-hosted a Special Workshop on Green Cities & Air Quality Improvement with the International Conference on Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The joint workshop brought together 18 ICAPP representatives of 14 Asian political parties to share knowledge on green smart cities, especially focusing on Asian urban areas. GGGI provided presentations and led discussions on green cities, air quality and water & sanitation issues pertaining to urban regions.

Dr. Frank Rijsberman, Director-General of GGGI delivered his welcoming remarks at the opening session and GGGI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICAPP to formalize a collaborative framework, exchange ideas and share knowledge between the two organizations.
